Scient Donated $529 to the CT Humane Society
Scient matched funds collected from the coin machine and donated $529 to the Connecticut Humane Society, helping provide shelter, medical care, and new beginnings for pets in need across the state. In addition, employees collectively donated pet supplies, including pet food, treats, toys and blankets.
Walk to End Homelessness
On Sunday, April 27th, Scient employees proudly sponsored and participated in the 18th Annual Walk to End Homelessness in Downtown New London.
Over $60,000 was raised to support the New London Homeless Hospitality Center's efforts to help shelter guests and housing program participants find stable housing and overcome financial barriers.
Scient Employees Participated in the Angel Tree Program
Our team at Scient proudly participated in the Angel Tree Program, donating clothes and toys to 32 children in our community through the Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club of New London!
Scient Donates $500 and 125lbs. of Food to the Gemma Moran United Way Food Center
Scient employees donated 125lbs. of food (equivalent to 104 meals) during our annual Thanksgiving food drive and Scient made a $500 donation to the Gemma Moran United Way Food Center during the 98.7 WNLC & New London Police Union Annual Food Drive at ShopRite in New London!
Back to School Donations
On Tuesday, August 20th, 2024 our members and employees donated school supplies to the Town of Groton Police for their Back-to-School Drive!

National Night Out
On Tuesday, August 6, 2024, Scient attended National Night Out with New London Police Department!
The goal of National Night Out is to promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods a safer and more caring place to live.
Our team members had fun giving out prizes to kids as they spun our big prize wheel!
Tour de Noank 5K
On Saturday, June 8th, 2024, we attended the Tour de Noank 5K to benefit Groton Parks and Recreation Adaptive Programs! We had a fun day spending time with everyone in our community to support a good cause.

On Thursday, April 25, 2024, Scient hosted a First-Time Homebuyer Social at These Guys Brewing in Norwich, CT where our experts shared their knowledge to first-time homebuyers by presenting a step-by-step homebuying process and other essential things to know when purchasing your first home.
